Meet our founder, Nick!
Nick Coleman, #1 aquarium enthusiast, has been installing and maintaining aquariums for over 15 years.
The company began in the summer of 2021. Since then, Nick’s Aquatic Maintenance has serviced hundreds of aquariums in the Chicagoland area.
Nick’s Journey began in 2010 when he received a 1-gallon fish tank as a gift. His passion for the hobby only grew from there.
Interested in saltwater fish and coral, he quickly began keeping reef tanks. Nick worked in a hand full of local fish shops in the following years, learning more about fish, coral, and all the equipment to sustain an aquarium.
Nick says, “When I first set out to start a maintenance company, I wanted to serve people with consistency, stability and my own first-hand experience.”
He goes on to express, “keeping aquariums can be tough and a bit of a roller coaster ride sometimes. I want to share my knowledge with people that like doing what I do and set them up for success."
